Our mission is to study children, teens, and emerging adults’ interaction with the newer forms of interactive digital media and to see how these interactions both affect and reflect their offline lives and long-term development. We endeavor to keep up with the latest technologies used by young people.
B.A., Communication Studies, UCLA
Julia Broome graduated from UCLA with highest honors in Communication Studies. She assisted in a number of studies at CDMC. In 2018, she completed an empirical honors thesis in Communication Studies entitled “Put the phone down and play.”
Julia currently works as a social media coordinator and manager.
