Internet Pornography – Patricia Greenfield was one of the witnesses who testified about access to pornography on the Internet and the use of file sharing programs to transmit pornography. They also talked about child pornography, juvenile access to pornography, search terms that produce high proportions of pornographic images, and federal law enforcement resources to combat the problem. – View video »
Effects of the Internet on Children – Patricia Greenfield participated in discussion where psychologists discussed the role of the Internet in child development and family cohesion. Among the topics discussed were the similarities between television and Internet use, the potential influence the Internet has on personality development and self-image, as well as its ability to facilitate violent tendencies.
